“Growth occurs when one goes beyond one’s limits. Realizing that is also part of training.”
How do you go beyond your limits? Depending on who you ask you’ll almost always receive a different answer. For me, growth is not linear… growth is as rigid as a mountain and as complex as the human mind. The path to growth is twisted and riddled with turns and exists, yet it is forced upon us regardless of our desires. Therefore the measurement of success is not how far you’ve come or how much you’ve grown, rather it’s the strength to persevere through the lows and overcome the temptations to turn back or even take an exit. Success is not what you have nor what you will have. Success is simple, success is the will to never give up, for that is the only way we can continue to grow and go beyond our limits.
My name is Andres but most people know me as Nax. I’m 26 years old and have been fascinated with computers since I could form a memory. I started off watching my father play Age of Empires in 1999. From there I branched out into playing other games. Slowly my love for games grew into something more, a love for computers and the internet. I would consider myself an avid learner. I often find myself learning odd things here and there and I suppose that’s how I became interested in Cybersecurity as well as Video Editing and Computer Art. My current passions are creating thumbnails for video content as well as video editing and learning more about Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Blender. I also dabble in VMs as I’m completely enthralled by the possibilities of studying computer malware and allowing them to destroy a machine I created in order to study the damage as well as the attack.
Although this is only part of who I am and what I do, I’m excited to share my progress and journey in the fields that I love and I hope the passion I have can be passed on to you, the person reading this.
